I'm sorry but I don't see the big puzzling move.

1. Snow's owner, coaches and players are talking about making a playoff push. No way, does Snow dump top vets from his already low payroll, only 10 games in.

2.Vis is on the ice, at today's practice. He reportedly is gonna play Sat. in the NYI/Sabres game.

3.Snow has two impending ufas, who are likely to draw a lot of interest because of the shortage, of solid top 4 d-men: Vis and Streit.

If Snow's team's out of the race at the trade deadline, shouldn't he look to trade both? Isn't that what Snow is saying, when he tells the press he made the TT trade for cap flexibility if he needs it?
