Arbitration may be one reason why Avs dragging their feet re-signing O'Reilly. (If he plays 6+ games this season, he'd be eligible to go to arbitration.)

sounds like a stupid reason, so they are going to stunt his growth. just to save what maybe 1-2 million a year?
