For Saskatchewan, who is hosting Nationals, they would match up against Regina. Both teams have split 4 games, with 3 of 4 of those games being decided in overtime and all 4 games were 1goal matches. So, the Huskies will have thier hands full with the hillbillies down the road. It would be a long layoff heading into Nationals if they were to be upset in that first round. If Saskatchewan fails to defend the CanadaWest title, they will be grouped with the number 1 ranked team in the nation, unless that is Alberta.
The way Manitoba and Sask dominated their opponents last night I doubt that either will lose. Of course, you never know when a goaltender will come up with a 50 save performance.

It is odd that Manitoba crushed Regina so badly all season, yet the Cats have basically been .500 against Sask, Calgary, and UBC.

While upsets are plausible, all signs point to a Manitoba-Alberta final. Barring injuries, I would say that Alberta's only chance is if Mucha is stellar in goal.
