Definitely easier. I couldn't get cap geek's archive to actually work, so I used numbers pulled from USA Today. They listed actual salaries and not cap hits.

2011-2012 Nashville Predators Pay Roll (not including Radulov) was $54,014,000 (or close). They had 104 points in the standings at the end of the regular season. That is just over $519,365 per point in the standings.

I don't know about cards, but, uh, I think these four-fives beat a full house. Hey banker, cash me out, yo.
