We've gotten away with having two 'soft minute' centermen in our top 9 for a little while now, but it's coming back to haunt us bad. I think you choose one of gally or DD and they stay on center and get the easy minutes. The other one gets shifted to wing. Who knows, maybe they both play on the same line and that somehow works?

True that. I think DD on Galchenyuk's wing could work, but I could see the resistance to putting DD and Gallagher together. I know he's a rookie, but Gallagher is so strong in his puck pursuit that I think he might be able to handle a tougher role. Maybe something like this could work?
