There is no dissatisfaction with Postma's skill set, just no room for him to play on the Rt side.
No, Dallas's problem is a coach who believes that a small defenseman must be paired with a large, physical defenseman. If you look at the roster, the strength is in the small defenseman position (Goligoski, Daley, Larsen, Robidas) and the weakness is in the large defensemen (Dillon, Oleksiak, Rome), ie 2 rookies and a 7th defenseman. Trading our best big defenseman makes zero sense unless a better big defenseman is coming back.
