It's really hard to make an argument for either Sedin having a better overall career than any player listed here, except maybe Steen.

They lack an international resume, their 1st 3 years in the NHL they were really weak, 4th year okay but not anywhere near even average top 6 players.

Even in their breakout year in 06 when they were 25 they were still 2nd line players on the Canucks.

In 07 they become PPG guys and are top liners on the Canucks but have a horrible playoffs.

08 top line in Vancouver, slightly less than PPG, team doesn't make the playoffs.


In 09 close to PPG guys with a much better 2 round playoff

In 10 they reach their peak, statistically but I wonder if people are putting too much stock into a 3 year run or a 5 year run and forgetting about the other parts of their career.
