And that kind of hockey is Flyers hockey, unfortunately Laviolette does not understand Flyers hockey.

Get someone like Carlyle, and then get players like Clowe, Lucic, Neil, Carkner and even a guy like Orr. And let them play Flyers hockey.

Keep the top players like Giroux and of course tough players like Hartnell, Simmonds, Rinaldo and maybe Sestito. Get rid of Shelley because he is too old and not nasty enough. Then get rid of guys like Fedotenko and replace them with bangers. Then you obviously need some nasty defencemen to replace the likes of Pronger.

Keep the skilled guys and replace the average guys with tough nasty players that you hate to play against. That is Flyers hockey.

What are you talking about? Rinaldo just concussed somebody last week. Tampa Bay got physically pushed around, as did Carolina. And even though we lost the first game of the season against Pittsburgh, the Flyers were pushing them around pretty good in the 2nd and 3rd. We got Fedotenko for hockey sense defensively. Orr is useless, Carkner sucks and is injured alot, nobody but Boston has a Lucic. Rinaldo could easily become a Neil
