I've been saying from the get-go that Subban is a better 5-on-5/PK defender than Markov...

Nice to see some people finally see the light. Markov's game is not as well suited against teams that are remotely physical, it's no secret. It's one of the reasons his game was always less effective in the playoffs as well. That's not to say he is a bad defenseman, because he is a great one. That said, IMO Subban as a 5-on-5 and penalty killing defenseman is in the elite category. He makes some bad decisions from time to time but he matches up extraordinarily well against any kind of of forward, whether it's Milan Lucic or Marian Gaborik. He has the speed and strength to hold his own against them all.

Gorges-Subban needs to be the pairing that eats up the most minutes 5-on-5 and fast.

Gorges-Subban 23-25 min
Markov-Emelin 19-21 min
Bouillon-Diaz 14-18 min

I'd even argue Subban needs to play between 25-30 min when you factor in the PP and the PK.
