But just because he is limited as player, that doesn't mean you have to trade him for a 5th rounder or Pens 9th best defensive prospect or something like that. Those things don't have much value to Avs.

Avs coaches seem to like him and they play him. This from a team that hasn't had an enforcer play regularly for them in a decade. So it seems at least they value what he brings.

I might add, Bordeleau to Habs would make the coming Habs-Leafs games much more entertaining. He is a fierce guy.
This. After watching guys like David Koci and Peter Worrell for a few years, the Avs are happy to have a guy like Bordeleau. No one expects him to play all 82 games in a season, but it's nice to have a guy with size who isn't a major liability if he plays 7 minutes a game.
