Are you talking about the Buffalo offense that just went out the door with Gailey, or the new offense based on what Syracuse ran?

Either way, if Marrone is serious about adjusting scheme to fit talent (which he proved he was at Syracuse), and is still in the phase of evaluating what talent he has, I would think it stands to reason to acquire the most talent possible for him to start with.

Welker would be a free agent signing. Harvin would have to be acquired via trade (and would probably be cost-prohibitive to acquire). I agree that it's not likely, especially with the front office cutting money early in the offseason in Barnett and Wilson. Also agree that there are probably at most two spots for inside receivers.

Is Johnny Knox still fast? He could be a cheap outside option.
