That was his first game back because he just got back to 100% from his injuries.

He still has gas in the tank, and the Predators would LOVE to have Yanic back. Yanic is a sniper. IMO, has the most underrated wrist-shot in the game. He is by far the best face-off man out there... and he isnt THAT bad in his own zone. While he may not be the fastest guy out there, he might not be the best passer in the world, and he doesnt throw any hits; he is always in the right place at the right time.

The Preds wanted to re-sign him, just we already had a 2nd line center (David Legwand), and we needed a 1st line center in Jason Arnott. YP is definitely a good option, as he has a knack for finding loose pucks around the net.
No need to describe what kind of player Perreault is, we already know him... Soft like no one, no grit, cheat to avoid physical contact, really poor defensively, slow, no vision, poor stickhandling skills... His lack of NHL skills makes him unable to create scoring chance for himself or for his linemates... Best faceoffs man in the league, pretty accurate wrist shot but slow release, he will float in the **** to score his garbage goals while his linemates do all the dirty job.

As the king of the floaters, Perreault wont last long in the new NHL... We have already 4 better centers in our line-up, no place for him, neither in our farm.
