He's not being pawned off for scraps. He's one of the better bottom-line players in the league who's in Torts's doghouse right now. Doesn't mean Sather's going to move him for less than market value.
If NYR feels Miller is ready to be a third line center, maybe Boyle gets dealt?. Halpern has been very effectice in that 4th line/penalty kill role and he is a better face off man.

It's a deep draft. I think the Rangers would take a low 1st or high 2nd if it was offered? It would not happen until the deadline though. By then we'll know what their plans for Miller are.

Anything lower than a 2nd and I'd hold on to him.
