Also, with Lynch and Greene coming up in the near future, could any deal go down involving 2+ Oiler D for another D that will improve our club now?
Dont forget Allen, he isnt that bad of a D prospect. I think this spells the end of either Smith or Brewer.
Staios is going nowhere. Neither is Bergeron or Semenov. Cross just signed that deal, and despite the fact he cant skate.. look at him this year. Theres Fergie (It seems he'll play here for another 7 years). Then we have Smith (who seems to have rediscovered himself this season), and the enygma that is Brewer.
And waiting we have Allen, Lynch, Greene and now Woywitka.

I have a feeling one of Smith/Brewer gets moved with a forward(Larague PLease) for......,.....a center?.......

And at this point I would choose Smith to stay. Like someone said before, Smith bleeds Oiler blue, and Brewer has this weird indifference to his game most of the nights. (Of course, Smith would first have to sign a Staios type good-will long term contract... if not, Brewer stays)
