Thats the problem, the only DEL club I know, without big financial issues is Mannheim, not sure about Berlin. Our junior system is bad ( again only real good club, which can play and win against NA teams is Jr. Adler Mannheim). Most of the players, playing in the NHL now have once played in Mannheim.

And maybe the biggest problem is the lack of rinks, the closest to me is 40min away, while 10 soccerclubs are within 10min. As long as we don't get more rinks, hockey don't will evolve as a big sport in Germany.
