When playing on big ice I would take Sweden's defense in a heartbeat. Their skating and puck-moving skills/potential in D core are through the roof. One and half year more development for the youngsters from Sweden (basically every one of them) comparing to many older Canadian dmen. Also Russia has some awesome puckmoving dmen in the KHL which obviously NHL-only guys wouldn't know. They could basically take almost every dman from KHL when playing in the big ice and compare in skills to every other in the tournament (only problem for Russia is that they don't know how to play defense as a team...).
There's no team that will just skate over others for the gold but ofcourse with that offensive talent and depth Canada is able to skate, they are the favorites every time.
