Omark is doing well in Switzerland thou.
Yes because one player is what takes a team to the finals. Where do you come up with this stuff? You do know that Omark as a 21 year old was 3rd in SEL scoring losing the race by 4 points, right? Omark was very impressive in the SEL, so good he got an invite to the Swedish Olympic roster and is revered back in Sweden. Performance in the SEL is pretty even. In fact Omark's best season compared to Silfverberg is a one point difference in favor of Omark (they were also the same age), although Omark did have a worse ppg (in saying that Omark was also on a worse team). Silfverberg is probably the better player rather easily (he's much bigger) but you are very much ignoring how terrific Omark was in Sweden. Omark has had quality to elite production at times in every top league in the world from the SEL to KHL to AHL and even for half a season in the NHL. Heck he even kept pace with NHL stars in Switzerland this year (which in fairness you alluded to). Omark's production in adult leagues is just fine, you should have an easy argument here lets not get carried away by claiming there is some huge disparity in their play as pro's at this point.
