Not sure if there's a contract that prevents them from flying other airlines, but Swift filed for bankruptcy protection last year. The Blues, Avs, Hawks, Preds, and Bruins were on contracts with them to start the year. Swift cut its ties with the Preds, and the Avs asked to be let out too. Seems like the Blues, Hawks, and Bruins would be wise to follow suit.
