There are only 4 players that need to go into this discussion: Streit, Visnovsky, Okposo, and Moulson. Nielsen is worth more to the Isles than he is to other teams. Bailey is near worthless. Boyes is, to my mind, completely worthless. Martin is part of the future. There's not much else to speak of.

I would stick to trading Visnovsky and Moulson. Visnovsky is the 2nd best player on the Isles, and if there were a playoff team he would agree to join, he could be worth a 2nd rounder or solid prospect. Moulson is, in my mind, a power play specialist, but he is a superior power-play specialist. Of course, the teams that could use him the most is the arch-rival Rangers.

All in all there's not a whole lot there to trade. Trading Okposo now is trading low. Same with Streit - I think it makes more sense to keep him in a diminished role moving forward.

The only way the Islanders move forward is by doing something dramatic. Without trading our #1 we can't get anyone of much impact. If that pick looks to be top-2 or even top-4, I don't see that happening. The chances of the pick being top-4 look pretty good.
