That is because they are now the shutdown line who spends every shift against elite opposition. Grabovski plays the 2nd-most TOI even strength among forwards, after Kessel, and his primary objective is no longer scoring. Also way too early to say his offense has dried up.

Nazem Kadri is a 3rd-line centerman, not a 2nd. He certainly has that potential, but his line is being sheltered by the Grabovski line doing the shutdown work.

Screw the depth chart. The TOI shows that the Grabovski line is the 2nd line, and is even more important than most 2nd-liners.
