I am going to say it was a hit/hip check gone wrong. Hall had lined him up for the hipcheck then it almost seems like he had second thoughts but ended up clipping him. One game at most. If Hansen can get away with only one game to a forearm/elbow to the back of a defenseless players head this may not even warrent suspension.

it will be interesting to see what Shanaban has up his sleeve today.

its also very hard to judge hits these days as we see them all in super slow motion, from every angle, with all day to critic..... while the players on the ice have a split second to react.
