As for buying out Gionta...I don't agree with that, he's still a useful player. But the coaching staff seems to think that he's useful in all situations.
I'd like to see them take away some of his PP time to allow more creative players like Gallagher or Galchenyuk more icetime in key offensive situations.
The weird part is that I feel the same way regarding the lack of obvious chemistry between those 3 players and yet, it works! The results are there and they act all vets, all business.
I also wish for less PP time for Gionta but at the same time, I realise that he is the only (when Gallagher is out) right-handed shot we have who can assume PP duties.
That said, I agree with you.
We are on the verge of running in circle here (subject already covered) so we should save this argument for another thread!
