Not entirely sure what logic people are using that CBC will be shut out of any hockey next year. Or that Harper has some evil plot to end the CBC by stopping HNIC.

CBC won the Canadian broadcast bid for the next two Olympic games in August. Doesn't seem like they had any kind of political wranglings to stop them from winning sporting bids.
