Bell isn't going to bid on the rights to the point where it is not profitable. They are a business with shareholders they are accountable for. Not sure why you think Bell will be able to bid more for the rights while remaining profitable than CBC could.

The fact CBC has partnered with TSN to provide coverage for the 2014 games pours cold water all over your theory they are out to get each other.
