Something you have to live with around here, especially now.
Most of our players are very streaky and they always have been, Backes, Perron, and Stewart being the main ones. People need ot realize this and stop freaking out after every game that they don't light it up.
If Perron or another big name player is moved, it will be for someone of similar age, ability, and potential. It won't be for rentals, older players, or futures. A trade like this is very unlikely to actually happen.
What makes the most sense is adding another solid defenseman to the bunch, and a center that can score 50-60 points. A true #1 center simply is not realistic.
Weiss makes sense because he will only cost picks/prospects because he is an upcoming UFA and he isn't producing a lot right now. We won't have to give up any roster player IMO, and maybe we could resign him if we decide not to resign McDonald.
