You don't think Phily's defense has anything to do with that? Check out Hackett's career numbers and then look at his numbers while in Phily.
Phily does a great job of making sure the opposition only get's one shot at a time and clears the front of the net extremely well. And looking at Cechmanek's style, that's exactly what he needs because after that first shot and rebound, he is wildly out of position and often has no clue to where the rebound went.
I am far from a "Cechmanek supporter" (I was against his coming to this team to begin with), but I don't think he's a bad goalie. Or even the worse as some have styled him in other threads. I just don't think his style is conducive to this team's style of play. Huet, although will not make the spectacular play that often, is solid and consistent which I think is better for this team. Instead of giving up 4 goals one night and 0 the next, I'd rather have the guy who gives up 2 goals each and every night.
