Come on buddy, I share your frustration with the terrible starts and I agree that's not a cup-winning formula or a formula to beat good teams, but it's not like the terrible starts carried over to the playoffs and it's also not like we have a terrible start against every opponent. We generally get off to better starts against good teams.

We scored first in games 2, 3, 4, and 5 versus the Devils in the playoffs last year. Pretty solid starts in each of those games. We lost that series for other reasons (lack of adjustments from Lavy, etc.), but still, we had decent starts.

How can you "root" for a team but never say a positive word about them? How can you watch a team roar back from a huge deficit to win a game and not get excited? Was the 3-0 comeback against the Bruins even enjoyable for you? Or did you spend the entire comeback saying "Yeah, making NHL history is nice and everything, but comebacks are for losers"?

As I said earlier, I can totally understand being frustrated with various aspects of this team, but I can't understand not taking joy in a single game won by a team you supposedly root for. What do you get out of being a fan if victory doesn't excite you?
