That is a terrible argument. Why not judge him based on his save percentage, the most revealing stat in re: go his effectiveness as a goalie.

Keeping in mind that his numbers include the one terrible period vs SJS that demolished his stats, he still sits in the top-15 of NHL goalies in save percentage.

He has certainly kept us in more games than he's lost us. He's had some recent struggles but why does that matter if he gives up the 3-1 goal when we can't even score that 2nd goal?
