Do we need a big name scrap to punch our team in the face?

Lately on the main NHL boards a lot of big name high profile players have been scrapping and i think it does more for a team than just defend each other. The Sharks have been slumping and Jumbo Joe (their captain) has had two high profile fights in the past 2 weeks.

Do we need a Ryan Callahan or a Marc Staal to fight another high profile player to show the team that if they won't play for the coach that they should at least play for each other?
