Because the American back-up goaltender looks to be Craig Anderson, who is perhaps better than most teams starters, including ours. (I put him ahead of Miller now. Not sure if that fetches too much of a debate outside of some diehards in Buffalo) They have a fantastic d-corp and 4 strong lines...a real serious team that's leaving Sochi with a medal and maybe, just maybe a gold medal. In a one game run and gun winner takes all, the US is every bit the part of gold medal contender.
