I disagree that USA has 4 strong lines, or a fantastic group of defencemen. Very good defencemen, and a lot of very good skaters, but not a long list of Norris contenders. The complete lack of elite players at the most important forward position is an issue too. When it all comes down to it though, the talent is there to beat any other team in a one (or even seven) game scenario.
