I'm just struggling here.
In certain sports (Like hockey, Basketball, football, soccer...etc), unfortunately, you can't control it. You just have to play your best everytime.
In a sport like boxing or MMA, fighters train a certain way so that they peak the day of fight. If fighters had to fight every week, they wouldn't be able to control their peak either.
Being hot at the right time is crucial in a sport like hockey.
