And Heatley has earned it? Granlund was playing 2nd line his first games in the NHL. I wasn't expecting him to be amazing right off the bat. But he has been improving every game. Replacing Heatley on the 1st line might not work out, but not even trying it seems worse. Let him play with the one guy who can mentor him better than anyone, that being Koivu, and a guy who can finish his passes, that being Parise.
