This is big. We need to restock a bit, plus we are without a 1st again, so that hurts. Hopefully Philly makes the playoffs and we get a 3rd.
Personally not having a first really does not hurt us. We have Doughty, Quick, Kopitar, and Carter all with long contracts. They are the core of the team. You have a salary cap so you can only have a handful of big contracts. Taking the fact that the pick in the 1st will probably be about 15 not that big a deal. Now if we keep trading 1st down the road that might be a different story.
