I have watched almost every one of Kristo's games this year. Players can never do enough off-ice training. There is always room to improve, I am totally agreeing with that. I am wondering why people here think Kristo's strength is a weakness. I never see him get knocked over, and he rarely loses board battles. He is one of, if not the, most explosive skaters in the NCAA, which can at least be partially attributed to his leg strength. I am just curious what I am missing that people want to label him as weak.

He isn't a power forward, he is a playmaker that is extremely elusive. His strength is going around people, not through them. Just because he doesn't out muscle people on a consistent basis, doesn't mean he can't do it. It just means that other parts of his game are strong enough that he doesn't need to do it, at least at the college level.
