Perry could definitely be the missing piece for us. I don't see any other pressing need for many years ahead than a big elite right-handed scoring winger. We're in good shape at every other position. And considering Perry's only 27, you know he can grow with that team.

It's not going to be cheap though. I'm guesing 8M over 7Y is going to be the asking price.
in just 1 or 2 years, Habs won't have any true #1 d-man. Markov is getting old, is slowing down greatly, and I remain skeptical Subban will ever become a TRUE #1 d-man; he's too "volatile" for that.

Habs' d-men prospects are interesting or good, but not great. There is no #1 d-man coming up.
