I feel bad for him with what he has gone through the past few years.

That said, when I see this comment:
DiPietro told me Isles waiving him felt like, "they ripped my heart out, stabbed it, set it on fire and flushed it down the toilet."

I get pissed off. He is not a capable NHL goaltender right now. The team did him every favor by letting him be the backup for 6 weeks or so. Now, it just seems like he is putting himself and his own needs ahead of the rest of the team.
