Doesn't the new CBA limit new contracts to 7 years unless re-signing with current club?

And you are wrong... Anaheim won't trade him a rental. If he won't re-sign with them, they will want something big in return or keep him for the playoffs. No team will trade for him unless assured of a contract extension.
