Buffalo would not take Huselius for Pyatt straight up, and they woudl certainly not throw in additional prospects or picks.
I think a fairer deal would be Huselius to Buffalo for a 2nd round pick.
I tend to agree with you Darth. I've been a huge Pyatt fan for quite awhile for the reasons you cite. And to make things worse this is a horrible time to be offering an ice cold Huselius. Still, he's got a couple of 20+ goal seasons under his belt and his scoring is sure to rebound...eventually.
I thought of adding a 3rd rd pick or even as much as Novak (who I'm sure would be more than enough to close the deal) but I suspect Sabre fans are just as frustrated with Taylor as Cat fans are with Kristian. In the end I honestly believe the winner of a straight up trade could be either club or both.
