Gotta love the 'what have you done for me lately' mentality that some of our fans have, obviously we have the most bipolar fanbase in the NHL so it comes to no shock for me to see a thread like this today. Price has two shaky games and some people already forget how solid he's been for our team and how essential he is to our success. The problem with Price is that his technique is almost flawless: he's rarely out of position, barely gives any rebounds anymore and makes any save look easy. There's a reason why Marc Denis is always praising his movements and his technique in general, he was a goalie himself. That's why as a fan it doesn't seem like Price is 'stealing' the game per se because he rarely gives a rebound or compromises himself in his positioning and resorting into making desperate saves la Halak or Tim Thomas. Think about it how many highlight reel saves does Price have in his career? 2? 3? 4? And that's in almost 300 games.

Price in 17 games has given one bad goal so far this year and it was against Ottawa. Other than that he's been one of the main reason behind our success because he helps the transition tremendously by helping the defensemen out like WTK, he's part of the other team's gameplan and other than Brodeur he's the best goalie when it comes to puckhandling.
The question of this thread should be how many games has Price cost us instead of stole us which is really subjective... You can check out this thread http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...651&highlight= to see that Price was our best player according to a lot of posters on here at the start of the season.
