While I'm a big fan of what Marty Havlat brings to the ice with his intensity, jaw-dropping skills and fifth gear speed, I personally feel Olli Jokinen is the better player at the moment. People just need to watch Jokinen play and realize he is Florida's top player by a wide margin, and does a ton of things out there that Havlat does *not* do for the Senators.

Havlat is a phenomenal talent, but Jokinen simply does not "dangle" as much as Marty does. He works the corners far better, uses his size more effectively all over the ice and is a proven leader at a very young age. Havlat is Ottawa's third or fourth option whereas Jokinen is the Cats' top scoring option, and with reason.

While I'm not diminishing Havlat's capabilities, I'm simply stating that Jokinen has excelled thus far as Florida's top player and captain, so they have no incentive to move him. I'd expect Ivan Novoseltsev and Kristian Huselius to be dealt for a defenseman before they even consider trading Joki.
