Some may argue that his in-room leadership presence is as valuable as Roy's would-be on-ice presence. Others may not.
It's a shame Buffalo seems to pick up physical players later in their career, though. Regehr, Rivet and Ott were all over 30 when they found their way to Buffalo. It'd be nice if the Sabres could draft and develop some of these players on their own accord.
Foligno, Tropp, McNabb, Girgensons, Catenacci... We've got some young, gritty guys in the pipeline.
