I don't think you re-arrange roles strictly by size. I rarely saw Tyler Kennedy hang back as the 3rd man in to let Staal or Malkin go kamikaze.
I know, but I noticed Cole's last couple games, he'd be the first man in and dump the puck for the next guy, who happened to be Gionta, who'd get hit and lose the board battle and the puck would go the other way. I'd rather an Eller/Prust/Patches board battle and have Gally come in later and crash the net or snipe in the slot whenever possible.
