I'd be surprised to see Tokarski as the full time backup despite him having to clear waivers to play in the AHL next year. I'm not sure they would go with someone that has so little experience in the NHL without having a better plan in place. But perhaps he can steal the job if an injury happens to Price's backup.
With Price clearly #1 and backup playing few games, is that not how it should work, give the ahl goalie backup position, so they get comfortable, learn the ropes and GET the experience -practicing regularly with the big club has to be beneficial for experience & confidence. otherwise how do they ever get experienced?
