It's a result of mostly players who don't know any better than to look straight ahead, coupled with a few who are just plain selfish and proceed to cough the puck up at the hashmarks/blueline. bleh
believe me I know this feeling as well. Or when you play defense and your forwards run to the far blue-line like it's gonna be a hail mary play.

The only thing worse is people taking it personally when you try to fix that. I'm not trying to be a control freak, but cmon, a breakout needs to be understood!
