On his own, he's rounding out to be a consistent 30g-40a kind of guy and that's brilliant.
He's not a one dimensional goal scorer. He has high hockey IQ , passing ability and wheels. Even when he had the goal drought, he was dishing and racking up points. With his conditioning , fierce will and wolverine like injury-recovery, he's one of the bright young forwards in the league that a team can count on to put up points consistently. He's a player.
