The point I was merely bringing up is that Milwaukee is just oversaturated as sports consumers are having their wallets tugged in too many different directions given the size of the market. There's only so much disposable income that a market has to spend on sports. Adding a team wouldn't generate much new spending beyond the initial year, it'd largely just force people to refocus where they spend it.

Same goes for Indianapolis. They've got the Colts, Pacers, Indians, Butler, and, of course, fanbases with Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, and Ball State all represented in the area. They're also pulled too many ways, with the Pacers being the main casualty right now just as the Bucks are on the receiving end in Milwaukee, so I wouldn't expect them to get an NHL team any time soon either.
