An article focusing on Pat Quinn and the Flyers' streak in 1979-80. One exception is the writer is incorrect in saying Rick St. Croix played the night of the loss. Phil Myre was the goalie that night. St. Croix played later in the season and won against the North Stars.

There’s a little insider’s intuition there. After the Flyers hit their 35th undefeated game on Jan. 6, 1980, they were clobbered the next night by the Minnesota North Stars, 7-1 (with current Leafs goalie coach Rick St. Croix making his only start of the year) and their coach Lou Nanne presented each of the players with a plaque to commemorate snapping the streak.
