He was playing top minutes and he looked over matched and you could tell he wasn't ready for it. He's potential is that of a #5/6/7 and that's where he is playing right now, he's playing fine but you could still easily make a case for him to be sent down. His IT over the past 4 games has been:
March 3rd CHI vs DET: 21:05 4th among dmen (4PP against, 2PP for)
February 28th DET vs SJ: 13:45 6th among dmen (1PP against, 2PP for)
February 27th DET vs LA: 15:47 5th among dmen (3PP against, 5PP for)
February 24th VAN vs DET: 16:34 6th among dmen (3PP against, 6PP for)
Over the past 4 games Lashoff has played on average around 16:30 a game. Take out last game it's even lower. Lashoff is on okay 3rd pairing guy & is good on the PK, that's where he will get his minutes. However if we can get somebody who is better then him or offers something else we need we should have no problem sending him down to the AHL.
