Hawks set new record
After winning their 10th straight game to set a franchise record, the Blackhawks (20-0-3) recorded another Chicago record by delivering the team's highest regular-season Comcast SportsNet rating ever with Wednesday night's 5-3 win against the Minnesota Wild.
The broadcast earned a 7.86 rating, attracting approximately 274,00 households in the Chicago market for the entire game. It also posted a 9.24 "peak" rating during the 10 p.m. quarter-hour (about 322,000 households tuning in). The 7.86 regular-season game ratings record broke the mark set on Feb. 28 for the game at St. Louis (7.54).
